How will you characterize the Saints 2017 Draft?

Not a grade or talk about quality but what overall characteristics will you note from this year? (2 more to be added won't be any large effect). For me, I'm calling it the highest injury risk for an overall draft I can remember.

Lattimore- the biggest issue on his resume is hamstrings. He missed a season and a half with that. He may never have another issue with them. On the other hand, I think I have seen someone reference Donte "Hamstring" Stallworth as a 1st Rder we saw hobbled consistenly with hammies. Claiborne had no significant injury issue at LSU. He gets to the NFL and he's a walking infirmary. There's no telling, we'll see.

Ramcheck- Similar theme, one year starter with surgery for a torn labrum as the biggest question on his resume. He had no testing after the season so the selection is purely from tape. They had to clear on the medical to take him but it is still a noteworthy point that will have to be answered for his continued development.

Kamara- redshirted for a knee injury and LCL sprain last year. Shouldn't be issue but they do flash on the resume

Anzalone- this about as pure of an injury risk player as you can pick. He checks all the boxes in on the field performance. Great potential. BUT the first thing in every scouting report is durability as an issue. He only got into 18 games in four years at Florida.

At least Williams and Hendrickson look clean on physical issues. 4 out of 6= The Injury Risk Draft

What else ya got on a whole?

I'm sure most players on their roster had an injury at some point in their careers.

the reasons you outlined are the reasons I'm not happy with this draft. so much injury history. we selected a bunch of talent that may never see the field

Everyone gets dings. Kamara looks like the least impacted of the four. Lattimore is all world looking but he missed more time than he played in college. That's not just a ding. Anzalone is nothing but injury risk. Potential Pro Bowl type talent but couldn't stay on the field. Ramcheck looks more like a one time issue but it is a damn serious issue. Again, not just a ding along the way while playing.

I also have serious concerns about injury history for these guys, there were very good guys without the injury concerns, but who weren't rated as high, so this BPA shite sounds good but I prefer safer picks with much less downside risk.

Anzolone is the only one that concerns me. Most of you queens act like you dont understand that football is a collision sport. 75% of these guys have been hurt in college. I know you can turn off injuries on Madden but come on...

many if not most players do get some dings along the way. Missing half your college games from hammy issues isn't just a ding. Availability and durability are essential ingredients to prolonged NFL success.

I'm not down on the picks at all. Just quite a collective group where flags (not dings) concerning injury have to be considered. As said, ya never know. They might all play 16 games for ten years straight.
