Yes, Williams missed a key tackle but we put ourselves in that position.

I fully agree. Are we going to ignore the atrocious First Half and the significant affect that had on the game? If so, why?

Vikes really beat the dogshit out of the saints in the first half and the saints have no one to blame but themselves. You just can't spot a playoff team 3 quick scores in one quarter and expect to win.

The 2nd half comeback may have been great to see but it's only truly memorable if you finish the job.

I would have loved for Williams to make that tackle but to blame the entire loss on him is ridiculous

Yep. Drew reads that blitz before the half and were kicking an easy FG. Three points there means Vikings can't kick a FG to go up at 21-20.

In reality, who knows how it plays out, but yeah, the first half sucked. Just like 2012 SF, except the offense simply couldn't move. In 2012 TOs killed us.
