There are no options in Zion Williamson's contract extension with the New Orleans Pelicans, as David Griffin told us. There is also no trade bonus. The Pelicans do have protections in the deal should Williamson miss significant games in the future, a league source tells @spotrac .

Well our first round pick twisted his ankle and we got waxed in summer league. Hopefully that’s enough bad to balance out all the good lol

The injury isn’t the concern, how bad he looked is the concern. That shot is horrible

Jury’s still out. This could be good news if it puts him back on Willie’s shite list

Well Dyson did sprain his ankle and we probably won’t see him play until preseason now so there’s that

First shot was pretty nice. Tight coverage. Still got it off. Just rimmed out.

2nd one from the corner was tough.

Something we should keep in mind about last night’s shooting.

The game was running 60-90 minutes late and there was only a 7 minute warmup period before the game. I think I that probably at least somewhat explains why the teams combined to go 7-65 from 3 last night.

You should start a thread about trading him for Conley and Bogdanovich because you don't understand how salary cap and trades work in the NBA.

I don’t think he understands how the NBA works. We give bad take guys way too much attention on here.

I'm telling you, Griff set up Demps last season to get the curse lifted when he returned to the Smoothie King Center and got his knee torn up. Minnesota should be very afraid.

They traded their future and two of their top 7 players to get Rudy Gobert, who plays the same position as their best player. They made a big move to get better that effectively prevents them from actually contending. That's why Minnesota should be afraid.

Horrible might be strong. It’s not Lonzo bad, but people were fooling themselves thinking everything was fine and he just needed repetition. If you glance or squint it almost looks fine, but there are all these little oddities with his form, gather, release, and arc that needed adjusted. Good thing is, Dyson has been with Fred the last week, and presumably will be with him all training camp and year.

If he comes back next year looking like shite we can worry

???

Outside of the shot, which was a known issue, he looked fine to me? Showed the switchability, size, anticipation, defensive IQ, the ability to be a great connector on offense and occasionally initiate. Showed more in the PnR in 10 mins in summer league than you ever really saw with Lonzo, who he is most analogous to on our recent roster.

I think it will. Lol no questions asked, I’d sacrifice Dyson (his life, not just season or career) for the good. But if he gets to play to start the season (keep his life) that would be even cooler.

KAT wants to play the 4 from all accounts. This move was made in part so he could play the 4.

Just like AD doesn’t like playing the 5
