Another part of it is the perception, or reality, that the Pels are second fiddle to the Saints and always will be, hence won't get as much attention from ownership and upper management.

Russillo told a story he heard about a Christmas party for the Saints, flyer is up, and someone slaps a sticker on it "Pelicans Too".

Hiring Griffin goes a long way in dispelling all of that.

Who is lined up to play for saints? Seems Cook is the biggest splash we’ve had in a few years.

Sorry Prob and Demario last year.

We have guys coming to visit but aren’t willing to take paycuts so we don’t get them. In my opinion, guys coming to visit the saints is not really guys lining up in the nfl. You can’t really compare that to nba.

All I can stare at is the sticker on the bottom of Ja’s shoe.

Some of that also has to do with the saints changing how they operated after some of the messes a few years ago.

They'll put out feelers to high end guys but have killed it in the low/mid level areas of FA the last few years.

I agree. I just don’t think you can compare nba and nfl free agency.
