Would you watch a game with the camera focused on a single player? You'll be able to soon.
quote:

Under a new partnership inked by the NBA, Turner Sports and Twitter, the second halves of 20 NBA games that air on TNT this season will be live-streamed on Twitter (via @NBAonTNT). The wrinkle: The live feed will feature a single-player, isolated camera view. Fans will vote on Twitter for the player they want to see featured during the live stream of select regular-season and playoff games airing on TNT as well as the 2019 NBA All-Star Game.

Awesome, now we can settle the argument of who the Pel's should trade between Niko and Randle.

Highlights everything both great and terrible about this league:

Great: Forward thinking on technology and embracing new ways to get fans involved in the game.

Terrible: player focused instead of team focused.

They’ve mostly been doing that with the Overtime App for years.
Viewers would vote per a quarter for a player on both teams.
It’s always been pretty cool, until subs come in.

Not to mention privacy. Maybe a player wanna scratch the booty on the bench, or after a foul.
