At least Wolvereke came back from injuries quickly.

I agree. Low ball him and see what happens. If we can get him for a year at a discount then what the hell let him get Some minutes with us.

Why would we want him in this locker room?

I wouldn't want him if he was free

The problem is Cousins now is his refusal to be a role player on a team unless it’s an established contending team.

He scares teams away with the way he plays. Even when he came back during the finals, he was still trying to play like a small player. He should be doing the dirty work and manning the paint but you still see him trying to start the break, float on the perimeter, and doing things he should no longer be doing post injury.

He’s slower, has less lift, and him trying to defend in space is a joke. He has a great physical make up but his mentality and ego won’t allow him to play within himself.

He plays selfish instead of doing what his team needs.

MAYBE if we were having trouble filling out the roster.

As it stands, we may end up cutting guys like Okafor, Keinrich, Wood, Frank, etc if we get a better player made available to us.

Griffins biggest priorities from signings are:

will be a good person
will contribute to locker room atmosphere/culture
will provide vet leadership

which are exact reasons why you would not say what the hell and sign cousins

I get he’s a locker room problem but he’s played himself out of a lot of $ The last two years. He needs next year to prove himself.

All I’m saying is if you can get him for cheap the upside is big. Make it clear that if he acts a fool he’ll either sit on the bench or he will be graded to some shat team

Another thing he keeps mentioning is not just shot creators, but shot eliminators- Another box that Boogie does not check.

This probably should have been the beginning AND end of your post.

I agree here, but N.O isnt the place for that.

Maybe somewhere like the Wizards or Hornets could take a chance. I wouldnt consider him in our situation.

I assume you meant to say traded instead of graded right here, and to that I say it takes two teams to trade. No one wants Cousins. There is no logical argument for signing him.

He's way, way too slow for this team. The little basketball value that he has now wouldn't work for us. He can't run anymore. He needs to go to a team that plays slow.

Dude, pellies need to say no to cousins if he wants to come back.

I feel yah, its sad how it olayed out, and had he never had such a severe injury it probably would’ve worked with AD.

But at this point, helllll nawwww. Sorry Boogie.

If he gets angry he’ll tear this youbg team apart.
