He obviously skipped combine. We have some measurements from earlier, maybe from Duke, but nothing recent. We know many guys continue growing into early 20s. Will we ever know his real height and reach?
Some detractors say he is too short for NBA or got by just over matching inferior athletes in NCAA. Duke listed him at 285:

According to Jonathan Wasserman, that weight would make him the second-heaviest player in the NBA, behind Boban Marjanovic, who is listed at 7-3, 290. So the fact that he can still bounce off the hardwood like he's using a pogo stick at that weight is nothing short of phenomenal.

Even if he is only 6'7", with that mass and a vertical that exceeds 40", I would say he should be set to over match NBA athletes as well. Great time to be a Pelican fan (especially after thinking AD was gonna kill our franchise).

Honestly, conditioning and he's coming down to 260. He will still be as strong as an ox, but 20-25lbs less and he's gonna be conditioned for a full season and maybe even faster.

Why would they at this point? If he measures 6’6” ...299 ...Should they trade him?

Of course not. It is simply something of interest. In an age of internet and numbers, it makes for a metric by which to compare players.

Zion will have access to the best sports science and trainers on earth with the money he is about to make. I’d imagine he’ll be 270ish once his body has completely matured and he’s settled into being a professional elite athlete(if he doesn’t grow). 10-15 lbs is a pretty small percentage of his total body weight and he’ll have room to drop a bit of fat fairly easily.

Why in the hell would you want him to drop weight? If his body naturally wants him to be at that weight and he carries it with no issues, you keep him at that weight. He is already in Amazing shape. He ain’t fat and he’s still growing. He’s a 1% athlete for a reason, you don’t mess with what makes him special. If he wants to turn some of that mass into more muscles than that’s fine but in no way, shape, or form should they mess with his weight. It’s crazy talk.

He is no doubt a crazy athlete. Could he improve his health? Probably. Few at 18 have maximized their diet and exercise. I am not saying he needs to lose weight, gain muscle, or improve his cardio. I suggest we let trained professionals make that determination. He seems like the type of kid to listen to instruction.
Many think he should drop 15-20 pounds to reduce stress on his legs. I see that as a possibility but again, he may be built for that weight. Lets trust the new and improved med8cal staff.

I mean, is Aaron Nelson going to make him step on a scale, so that he can manage his diet and training? Yes. Are they going to issue a press release? No. They'll list him at whatever they want to list him at, just like KD has always been listed at 6'9", even though everyone has always known that he's taller than that.

But I do think that the question of Zion's weight is interesting, because I've seen a number of suggestions that he could be even more explosive if he dropped 10 pounds of fat. I think that's why Joel Meyers asked him if he was in shape.

I feel sure that Aaron Nelson is going to mess with Zion's weight if much of that weight is fat.

You never officially list the heights and weights. They’ll know but will never say.

And some of you are crazy, they are 100% going to make him lose weight

Hopefully we can get him in the 260s without many making a big media deal about it.

You won’t get true measurements. He looks taller than 6’7” to me. But it won’t matter.

Take Embiid for example. They list him at 250. No way he isn’t at least 20 lbs bigger than that.
