Are you for real Clark?

He's still an 18-20 ppg scorer per 36. Without Jimmy Butler to be the Alpha on offense at the end, Derrick Rose might help. Where as before the injury he probably would have been a net negative just taking minutes from a guy that fit better like Tyus Jones.

If the playoff seeding went 1-16, as it should, the Pelicans would be the 7th seed and would be facing the 10th seeded Wizards in the first round.

PHX can be dangerous
OKC might have some trouble if they look past them

also, ignores the brutal 5 games/6 nites stretch for the pels. i think 46 wins is the reasonable outcome

If you take the records of these eight teams (the games they've won so far) and use their point differentials to project how they'll do over the final five weeks of the season (ignoring strength of schedule), we'd have a three-way tie for fourth place, the Jazz would grab the No. 8 seed, and the Nuggets and Clippers would be heading to the Lottery ...
Portland: 49-33
Minnesota: 48-34
New Orleans: 48-34
San Antonio: 48-34
Oklahoma City: 47-35
Utah: 45-37

Minnesota is a completely different team without butler.
He anchored their D and this is why I said in the offseason they need to just trade Wiggins for depth and better role players. Can't afford to have butler play 36+, it's too risky. Wiggins has shown no signs of improving on either end, just a bigger Monta Ellis without it a jumpsuit

Def wouldn't mind seeing Minny fall apart and miss the playoffs...if Butler is back in the post-season, and the Pels were matched up against them, that would suck. Minny gave us serious problems this year...

Wiggins is a B-, maybe a B level player. He’s inconsistent, can’t defend well. It was a bad signing all around, but they kinda had to I guess.

Wiggins could be a top talent in the league if he had any drive. Dude hasn’t progressed since he was drafted

I would have preferred to trade Wiggins than Dunn and lavine in all honesty. Those two can excel at being role players. I don't think Wiggins can, he'd all athleticism with no effort

KD did his best AD impression in the final minute.

Would still be 4th with a loss tomorrow. 1.5 up on SA, but Pels are gonna get that W and Portland will lose. Third seed here we come.

Curry could be out though. And I've penciled in a loss v Jazz in a few days. We really need the W v Wiz
