I think you build around your best player in whatever way makes the most sense and run whatever offense makes the most sense.

Just so happens, like when the NFL realized passing was a better way of moving the ball than running, the NBA figured out spreading the floor with shooters is good. But there are different ways to go about this. I personally think the best way to build around Zion is what Milwaukee is with Giannis.

What proof do you have that none of our players can develop shots? 90% of our team next year is 23 years old or younger.

What if...and this might be completely crazy...Zion develops a 3 point shot.

I already talked about if this happens.

Yes, Ball and Ingram could be replaced. That isn't crazy to even think

So there is no reason for this board to exist because there is no point in anyone having any opinion about the team right now. Even the people defending Hayes are wrong.

In a couple years it could be Zion and a whole crew of different people that aren’t even on the team right now. So let’s all wait a few years then meet back in this board.

Right. That's what I'm saying.

Or, I'm saying you worrying about what Hayes is as a 19 year old and his fit with the 2019-2020 season is insanely shortsighted.

Could be that.

It’s safe to say Hayes is not our starting center this year. I think that will get answered in FA. However, he could be in the rotation if he flashes in summer league and preseason.

I’ve unfortunately been responding to just about everything people have thrown at me. In fact, I’ve even responded to people coming at me for multiple things I never said. Not sure how I’m ignoring anything. Disagreeing is not ignoring.

The only real counterpoint I’ve seen about Hayes is about his free throw shooting, which I’ve addressed. I didn’t ignore it. I said free throw shooting is used to decide if a poor shooter has the potential to potentially develop a shot.

It’s not definitive proof that a guy who hasn’t shot 3’s at all will develop a 3 point shot. There is a difference.

As far as ignoring points, most people have ignored me pointing out that odds are more in favor of Hayes being a bust than him developing a shot. Too busy calling me a troll I guess.

I was literally projecting his fit with Zion, Ball, and Ingram, working under the idea that these guys are a part of the future of the team.

And yet again, you bring up how I’m just looking at next year. You do realize that Hayes, Zion, Ball, and Ingram, are all really young right? It’s not like I’m looking at a bunch of dudes near retirement and judging how they will fit together in the future. It’s totally reasonable to debate how these guys fit and not have it just be about next year.

Nice form? That legit looks almost like how Lonzo shoots.

By the way, Yi Jianlian was drafted 6th because of how he looked in workouts. Just one example of many busts that were drafted for how they looked in this type of situation.

Supposedly Ben Simmons shoots great from 3 in practice. Shaq was a great free throw shooter in practice.

No it doesn't look like how Lonzo shoots. And what do Yi Jianlian, Ben Simmons, and Shaq have to do with Jaxson Hayes. I'm done arguing with you, you know absolutely nothing about basketball and are the highest form of a troll there is

The crazy thing is that Hayes is likely still growing. He grew 5 inches between his junior and senior years in high school, and he added another inch last year between high school and the NBA combine.

Yeah he could likely end up being 7'1 or 7'2 which would be insane considering his 35 inch running vertical. Dude literally dunked from the free throw line and this guy is talking trash about our pick. Lighten up a little bit pal LINK

And not one top ten free agent or top ten shooter will be signing in Nola during free agency unless they over pay

I mean, that is not a great form.

Elbow on his shooting arm too far out and blocking his eye during his shooting motion. Which tends to create unwanted variance.

It's not Lonzo ugly, but it's not something that looks like this obvious transition for him into a floor spreader. He's going to have to adjust it if he wants to be a jump shooter. Which he could certainly do, but even then it's a way to go just to get to Dwight Powell, let alone Myles Turner.

You think anyone is getting a top 10 player or shooter without paying a frick ton?

You think we passed on any top 10 shooters in the draft?

Nice one pal, you should go back to the tiger rant board because you know nothing about basketball. We have Langdon and Griffin, we need to trust them
