the amount of people on this board who don't know anything about basketball is too too damn high.

hot take: jameer is actually a better fit for this team than rondo.

Jrue should reevaluate his life after seeing what Jameer can do. Old, overweight, no practice and he still has a bigger impact than Jrue

Jrue's start to this season has been really bad on offense. He has been really excellent on defense despite him fouling more often.

The biggest encouragement for me last night with Jrue was a play towards the end of the game where the shot clock was running low and Jrue took his man off the dribble and nailed an 18 footer.

The thing that worries/frustrates me the most was at the 1:30 mark in the 4th, we are up 114-110 with 9 seconds on the shot clock. Jameer passes it to Jrue and Jrue almost sends a touch pass back in the direction of Nelson forcing him to take that 3 pointer. Jrue shied away from that moment in a big way

What about the fact that AD played the entire 4th quarter, and only attempted two shots, a 3 pointer he missed with 10 minutes left, and got fouled on an attempt, making 1 of 2 free throws with 7 minutes left?

Not a good sign that the biggest encouragement is making an inefficient shot.

Demps need to find a long term answer at PG because it's a bit depressing to see how poor this roster is at closing games. Nelson really opens up your eyes when you see the difference between him and the rest of the guards on the roster at the end of games. Rondo will probably have the same effect but it's stunning the difference it makes. it really shows how long it's been since we had a guy who makes life easier in crunch time while keeping the guys on the court from playing panick ball.

I feel like Greivous was the last lead guard we had that I trusted in crunch time. He played a similar game to Tyreke, but was toned down in most ways. Whereas Tyreke would bull his way under the basket (too far many times), Vasquez had that crafty floater. He also wasn't as prone to hero ball as Evans was.

I was specifically talking about Jrue

Jameer is actually a complete player, hes just too short to deal with 6 5" guys carying the ball and palming.

This is one of the many reasons we are excited about a 35 year old

Gravy’s defense was a killer. Great back-up PG, though.
