So in super hindsight, we should have let Gordon walk...right? and pretty much get absolutely NOTHING for CP3
I think we've PRETTY MUCH GOTTEN nothing for CP3.

We have gotten worse. Sandy's contract and worst rookie season in history Austin rivers.

Once again, in hindsight.
Half of you forget that EG at the time was considered by many to be the next up and coming SG. Before he was traded, the guy was averaging
22/3/4 while shooting 45/36/83.
As of right now, if he's considered "healthy" and can stay healthy for a full season + playoffs, we have a guy that can put up 17/3/3 while shooting 45/40/80 and playing 2-4th option on this team.
Its like, if he doesn't score 20ppg and stay healthy the whole season no one is happy. Then if he scores 20ppg and shoots well, players like reke/jrue don't shoot as much. Then you guys go on a rampage: "Jrue/Reke suck because they're getting paid 'x' amount and only scoring 'x' amount".
Team game, one ball, only so many shots available.

Bennett was arguably worse

When your getting paid a max contract and still bitching/saying depends on what caliber player you think I am over and over during the off season you aren't going to win over any fans. Not to mention we of course are gonna be mad when he gets injured bc he's done it every year since we got his brittle bitchass. Ya he can contribute but it's bullshite when he's making twice the amount everyone else is when he's only the 6th best player on the roster.

How about, he's already here and stuck.
Every single one of you has had a sandy V since he said he wants to go to Phoenix and he hopes we don't match. He's been condemned worse in this city than his pouting deserved.
I said it before, if you were settled in a city and promised to stay in a city/team and not be a part of a trade, but gets backstabbed and sent to a rebuilding team away from the glamor of LA, you'd be sad as hell to.
Ever since the first season, he's turned himself around as much as an introvert can. None of you apparently understand it. He's anti-social, he doesn't look happy ever, and half of you make it sound like he purposely likes to get hurt so he can just pocket the money. Like that really helps him or the team out. Seriously, you guys are worse vaginas than him.
And its his fault he's getting paid that much, not phoenix or our fault for matching it right? He should have said no no, I suck so take half my salary. You would voluntarily say you're shitty at your job/underperforming so take half of your yearly salary? I think not.

I'll break what I want when I want to.
If it so happens I can't reach for something, I'll just break my knee and have you all go rampant.
Is this how Rocket fans felt when Yao kept getting injured? Or did they just blame the Chinese.

quote:Wow, you use selective memory, forgetfulness and the fact that no human has 20/20 hindsight -- to construct a heck of an argument. First, the original deal involving CP3 was done by the commissioner not our guys. Neol has never played a game. At the time we were concerned, but the potential greatness of Gordon was held by many (especially Pheniox). Without stating the endless evidence, the injury level the Pelicans have sustained is a "Super Anomoly". Assuming we are healthier next session and with a true big man on the team, I wonder if CP3 wish he had the opportunity, would come back and play with AD and the crew. The Clippers sure are in neutral.
Demps and Williams have single handidly put this organization in neutral

If the league can't get Sterling out of there soon, the Clippers won't be in neutral...they'll be running in reverse at mach speed.
