I’m admittedly not the biggest college basketball follower except for LSU so I don’t know much about other players but this kid seems like just the type of player the Pels need to be surrounding Zion with. He can score from anywhere on the court and seems to have a quality jump shot. I know the Cunningham kid from OK State seems to be the unanimous #1 but after that I really don’t have much. Thanks

Top 10 at this rate. He projects well in the nba. Only knock on him is his height/length but 6’3 has worked great for McCollum and lilliard in Portland. I personally don’t see it being an issue.

Is he a PG or SG in the NBA?

I see a lot of similarities to Donovan Mitchell, little bit bigger and not as much of a facilitator

I see him as a Klay Thompson type on offense. But he’s not Klay in defense yet, but he’s not bad there either

He really couldn't be more different than Klay.

These comparisons are all pretty bad. He’s not Klay and he’s not Mitchell l

I think he can be an elite scorer like Devin Booker.

Mitchell is much smaller and a much better athlete, McCollum and Thompson are both way better shooters than he is but don’t seem to be as good in iso as Thomas in their respective levels.

Give me Cam Thomas, Timothe Luwawu-Cabbarot and Kelly Olynyk.

Lonzo
TLC
BI
Zion
Adams
————
NAW
Thomas
Hart
Olynyk
Hayes
Forgot to add Kira

I’d rock with that

I mean...he wouldn’t be a bad selection as instant offense off the bench. I’d have to imagine out of Lonzo, Bledsoe, and JJ that 2 of those players won’t be on the roster next year. If we make a trade at the deadline, I would hope we look at Front court depth and see what we have in NAW and Kira. Looking at Cam right now he projects somewhere near the end of the Lottery because of his size(which is similar to Buddy). That might be where we are picking, and we could also package some of the 2nd’s to move up a couple spots.

Buddy Hield is a terrible comparison - he was not producing like Cameron Thomas is as a freshmen. Everyone remembers the 23 year old senior Buddy Hield, who was a beast. Cameron Thomas is a 19 year old freshmen beast. Cameron Thomas would average close to 40 if he stayed until his senior year.

I love the Devin Booker comparison, I loved him at Kentucky, just like Jamal Murray.

It’s weird how Cam Thomas can only get better... SEC PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!
