I’ve said for a while now I would be more than glad to eat crow on Hayes, and more specifically, the trade back from four.
Still not sure that if given the choice I wouldn’t take Hunter over Hayes and NAW, but the break even lines are getting really close and trending in the right direction.
And Hayes specifically has crushed my doubt and forced my words about him being a trust fund kid that might struggle with actual adversity right back at me and down my own throat. And I’m cool with that because it means one of the biggest hurdles raw players like him can have, Hayes seems to have the right mix mentally to come out the other side.
