The Pels will be a much better team without Davis. His trade value is off the charts that should make the Pels eight or nine players deep. Davis is a great player, but the Pels because of past mistakes just cannot acquire the players they need to contend. In my opinion the Pels will be better off making the trade.

This is a laughable statement considering the current administration.

We will be better off making several trades! And this board may have some better energy with all that activity.

The only way we get better out of Davis leaving is if Demps goes and Gentry with him.

And of course a trade with New York or Boston instead of LA

Including this season, the Pels are on their way to a 30,34 and ~36 win seasons in 3 of last 4 years.

The next era may not be better but it is hard to be much worse. I mean even if they win 20 games a season for the next 3 years, does that produce much less joy than a 34 win team? Both teams are bad and are not competing for the playoffs.

I think most people are not scared of losing the “success” the Pels have had but instead scared of losing a face of the franchise. To some, Anthony Davis IS the Franchise.
