What's your innovative pitch to AD?

Just keep it short and simple for the message board intake. What is your biggest pitch aside from "they brought in me, david griffin. We have Langdon new gm, he's da bomb bro. We also have committed to a revamp of a whole new medical team and staff etc. Yes, we're building our front office up. Yes Gayle is making huge commitments to upgrading the facility. We got the #1 pick, this kid Zion that you autograph snubbed is supposed to be really good, can help you win immediately and for the foreseeable future"

Only way I can see is if they trade Zion for a top 10 player and find a way to get one of Kawhi/Durant/Butler.

I think David can almost take the lebron angle. He left to form a big 3. Does AD need to leave to accomplish this? AD is way better than Bosh. Jrue is nearly as tough as Wade. Zion can be lebron'ish. But the big kicker is over the next few years for sure, AD should be the alpha out of the group. Jrue is the leader, AD is the scoring alpha. Zion and Jrue take a ton of on court pressure off AD. Visibility should prosper playing next to Zion (which you have to tread carefully about the raving of Zion being such a star cause i think it could quickly turn to jealousy)

Since AD ain't the sharpest tool in the shed, I print up pictures of all the attainable guys we can get with our 30 million in cap room or via trade, spread them on the table, and say "pick one to go with you, Zion and Jrue"

My innovative pitch would be to tell him we are going to be just fine with or without him. If you want to leave, the door is to your left. Have a nice life. If you want to stay, I’m not paying you a supermax until you prove that you are worth it. Here is a 2 year deal for 55m. Play hard, lead, play 77 plus games a year and play winning basketball and I will offer you a supermax in 2022.

There isn't one. AD said he wanted to be part of winning organization. You can only try to convince him that this is what a winning organization looks like. We spend money to get a top tier front office, training staff, medical staff, and coaching staff. We build smart and develop a winning culture.
If you really want to try to sway him, get his dad in the meeting and have Griff explain how he can leverage his extensive network of media friends that he gained over the past several years to really boost AD's exposure and brand awareness. PRovide concrete examples of what Griff and the expanded Pelicans FO/marketing team can do financially for AD off the court as well as with respect to his current and historic reputation.
He is still going to want out though.

You never know man. The best way to get a woman is to make them feel unwanted. AD has chronic vaginitis, so same approach may very well work on him. If not, who cares? He isn’t worth 45-50m a year.

the 2 years heat won championships... wade averaged 21 and 22 ppg. Jrue can fill that type of role on roster. Jrue is right there with D wade Defensively. D Wade is great. AD's betterness to Bosh is what's offsets Wade's to Jrue's.

Zion is a physical specimen with unlimited athleticism. I don't think the style comparison is far off. Zion will need to develop over the first 2 years but overall, you still have a HELL of a trio in year's 2 and 3 and 4 moving forward.
