What’s all the negatives this board said about herb the night before the draft?

Who are you comparing him to? The only negativity on here is people saying Sharpe is an asshat, which no one really knows. The only other thing I can think of is the hate on Griffin. His workouts didn’t go great and he has an injury history.
This is probably the most this board has agreed as far as Sharpe, Mathurin, Daniels go and then Sochan after them.

I don’t think anyone knew much but fans were just worried about his shot. We knew his defense was solid coming in. I don’t think anyone knew how smart he was and how quick he could catch on.

I don’t remember him being mentioned before the draft, but afterwards people thought he was a great get for a second rounder.

People wanted a 3&D guy or a floor general. Most people say he was a great defensive guy but wasn’t sure about his offense. I know a lot of us wanted Jared Butler

I didn’t really have an opinion on him. He was an older prospect with good D and trouble shooting. It’s why he went in the 2nd.
Think I repeated what one of the scouts said about him, that he has a similar skill set to a ben Simmons lite.

Most people just thought he couldn't shoot. That was basically his only downside.

I think people forget that this a message board where you supposed to give opinions that a lot of times end up being incorrect. I mean are you really trying to give people a hard time for there opinion on Herb Jones during the draft? You realize that a week into the season everyone loved Herb?

I don't listen to a single person on this board (or on the planet for that matter) with regards to what prospects are "going to be good".
If the player ends up being good, we're all going to love him/her (wouldn't dare assume someones gender)

I still wish we would’ve taken Ayo or McBride with our other 2nd instead of selling it off
