If we never gave away Robin Lopez? Would it be any different?

Right now he's getting 9.3 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 1.4 bpg. Would we still be bitching about a gaping hole at the 5?

Just some thoughts before we see him on the court tonight.

ETA: he's also getting 30 mpg

8.4 rpg

there were multiple games last season where he would get 1 in over 20 minutes

If we could have kept Lopez and still gotten Tyreke then of course you keep Lopez. But Lopez is not worth giving up Tyreke.

Lopez has been huge in boxing out too. The night we played the Rockets when LMA had 25 rebs, Lopez had boxed out his guy on 11 of those rebounds. He's a space eater down there and a huge reason why Aldridge has looked fantastic. Playing next to a true 7 footer does a lot for a team.
