Anything remotely close to something called defense and a closer. We can’t stop Tulane from scoring 100 and we don’t have a guy that wants to be the guy with the game on the line. Until we get one of those two, we can enjoy almost 60% from 3 and losses all season

Whoah... I’m flattered and all... but pump the damn brakes

The Wave wouldn’t score 20 on an NBA team. Cousins would have 30 blocks and the the Pels would drop 180

Wanting to be that guy doesn't make you that guy. See: Tyrec Evans

One of the best defensive players, and closers, in the league, didn't play.

You can’t say AD is the best defensive player in th league. Yes he is good, but we still give up 110 a game with him. And oh, when we need a stop at the end of the game, he can’t guard Harden/Westbrook/Lebron/Curry/Kyrie. So there’s that.

Our team defense sucks, that’s the bottom line.

It was the 76ers without there best player, so I don’t give them credit for that

It's certainly inconsistent.

It should help when Hill returns.

Hill is the lynchpin to our transition and perimeter D. Boogie not getting back in the 4th is a big problem especially when his offense goes to shite at the same time when he is gassed.

But the Rockets get credit for closing us out without our best player? I would even argue at this exact moment Simmons is better than Embiid, though Embiid has a higher ceiling.

I'd be way more disappointed if I was a Rockets fan. #1 team in the West playing at home against a top-heavy, perimeter playoff team without their best player who only won because Harden nailed 3 consecutive three pointers to pull away at the end of the 4th. Not to mention the officiating was embarrassingly one-sided to the home team

What happens to our lineup after Hill returns. Does he start at SF & does Moore come off the bench?

PG - Rondo/Holiday/Nelson
SG - Holiday/Moore/Clark
SF - Hill/Miller/Cunningham
PF - Davis/Cunningham/Diallo
C - Cousins/Asik

Starting defense should be pretty good in this scenario, & Moore/Miller could provide solid offense off the bench. We could use some better depth in the paint, but it looks pretty decent on paper.
