Here's a very low key offseason scenario.

Adams to the Wizards for Bertans

Bledsoe/Wenyen/#35/#40 for Beverly/Kennard/#25. Send Beverly to the Rockets for DJ Augustin.

Draft Davion Mitchell at #10. Draft Weiskamp at #25.
Sigh K'Hem Birch, and another SF.

Mitchell/Kira/DJ
NAW/Kennard/Didi
BI/Naji/Weiskamp
Zion/Bertans
Jax/Birch/Billy

Still have all your assets to make a big trade at some point, and nice contracts to move in Kennard and Bertans instead of Bledsoe and Adams in that trade.

Why the fricke would the Clippers trade Beverly and Kennard for Bledsoe and Gabriel??? AND we get pick #25 for #35/#40? I mean sign me up but not a chance in hell.

It would save them 8 mil for next season and then 14 mil for the next 3 seasons. They would essentially be getting no positive assets in return other than money. Do y'all really think they couldn't swing Kennard and Beverly for more than Bledsoe and Gabriel?

They don't want to make that pick at #25. They don't want the guaranteed contract of it. They could make the picks at 35 and 40, and if either are good enough, you then give that person a contract, but you don't tie yourself to it like a 1st round pick. Bledsoe would do fine as a CLipper. He doesn't really have negative value to them, and that deals saves them a good bit of salary. You think the Clippers would rather Bledsoe or Beverly?

I don't see how anyone would be against that trade

I believe we go with what we currently have. Bledsoe/Lewis and NAW/Didi.. I'm sure we will draft a guard or two and sign a cheap vet for depth..

It's fine. I want Lewis and NAW to be given a shot. Bledsoe is an expiring. It's not a bad group..
