What does a Sexton-less, Ball-less offseason look like?
Let's say Sexton is traded elsewhere (or not traded), and Ball either signs elsewhere and we don't match, or we do a S&T and the return is nothing special (you can conjure a S&T for purposes of this thread if you'd like).

What do we do? What are our options at lead Guard?

How does the offseason unfold to make us a playoff contender?

We get Ben Simmons. Duh.

[Edit: I thought that it would be obvious that this was a joke, but apparently not.]

RuN out NAW and Kira and let them develop. NAW is ready. Kira needs minutes.

You fill the PG role with someone like Devonte Graham and you let NAW go to work while you sit back and wait to make your move at the trade deadline, if you didn't make it this offseason. THere's no need to rush anything at the moment. This team is talented enough as is to be a +.500 team, especially with a coach worth a shite and a few nice pickups to play shooting roles.

I wonder if you could start NAW at Pg since Zion and BI are really going to do a lot of the ball handling. Unfortunately if you don’t have either of those on the roster, you may be looking at starting Bled again.

Uhhh, Zion demands out (at least ESPN says sources close to him want him out of NO)

I know team Canada used him as a PG, and we have in the past as well, but i think he's best utilized as a SG.
I'd prefer he focus on making plays from that position, and not have the burden of trying to make plays for everyone from the PG position. He's a turnover machine in that role.

We might have to sell-a-bit of our picks and young guys to make a move.

You try and get 1 or 2 of Tim Hardaway Jr, Kyle Lowry, or Spencer Dinwiddie. I'd still try and trade for SGA before Sexton.

I think Simmons will be a really good NBA player in a better environment.

The fact that he's still doing just fine in Philly says a lot about his character.

Philly is not an easy place to play.... and I could see how the mental side can be easily toyed with.

You may be correct, but I’m not spending valuable assets to find out. I would rather pay more for a known commodity, than find us holding the bag.

I think if that’s the case, NAW takes the starting SG spot and they go trade for someone at PG.

Lonzo rolling out means much more likely to keep Kira on to develop at the backup spot.

Yeah I would love to say he needs to go to a small market team and thrive thrive there, but also think he could go to a market like that and disappear. Who knows..I think a place like Orlando would be a nice fit for him... he played his HS ball down there and think the FLA lifestyle would do him well. Also, ORL has the assets to send PHI.. crazy because they took Fultz off them too, would be interesting to see how that played out...

Dinwiddie or go hard after Cam Payne

Cam Payne I think fits his role nicely... I don't think he can ever be a starting PG....

but the way the NBA is setup, I'm sure someone will throw a ton of money at him....hopefully not the Pels
