We're halfway through the season sons
2.5 GB of the 8 seed

5 GB of the 4 seed.

3 gms under .500

The biggest questions I have:

Will Niko be effective when he returns?

Can we make one big splash trade?

And if we don't

Are Frank, Oak with miller and Niko going to be enough in our 9 man rotation?

Need to get back over .500 ASAP. Hopefully before All-Star weekend for sure.

Does anyone know if the strength of schedule is tougher in the 1st half or 2nd half?

Go look at the next 12 games after Cleveland and you will know immediately

re: We're halfway through the season sons
I've seen it, but I remember reading that the Pels schedule to date was the 3rd toughest. After this brutal 12 games it must get easier. 6-6 with no injuries or 5-7 will be good. I want to know the strength based off what other teams schedule is to see if their schedule is tougher.

Yep, no more gimmees until Feb. At least the team will know who they are by the trade deadline and perhaps too far in the hole to make any rash moves.

Fox, Hield and Bogdan have all played really well this season.

re: We're halfway through the season sons
My point being the Kings are good because Fox is incredible and makes everyone around him better. Buddy is a satellite player for the most part and he’s done well. He’s a hard worker who deserves recognition. The move was and always will be the right move to make at the time. It is a bitter pill for pelican fans to swallow but that happen sometimes in the NBA. That being said, I doubt Buddy ever becomes a top 15 player in the league. He was traded for one at the time.

member when all the sons here were laughing at denver being rated so high in the preseason?

i member

DEN is 26-12 and jokic is a legit MVP candidate

so DEN takes MIN's spot in the playoffs, clearly.
LAC is 23-16, and could easily make it in. kings and lakers missed last year, both ahead of the pels, who are closer to 14th than they are to 8th.

i am pessimistic sons

I don’t believe in that the Nuggets will make it past the second round.

Depends on how far you want to go. A 7th or 8th seed, yea.

re: We're halfway through the season sons
The concerning thing is that the 1-8 seeds in the standings are all 7 or more games above .500 except the Lakers who've been playing without Lebron.

So you need to ask yourself which of these teams will fade down the stretch in which we have a chance to catch.
