Zion (Start), Herb (Backup), and BI (Start) get a All Star Nod (CJ misses out due to glut of really good Guards in WC)

Trey averages 15ppg

We take the #2 Seed in the WC.
We make it to WCF and play with house money after that.

I love Herb, but it’s hard to visualize his path to an all star team without an unreal Kawhi-like offensive upgrade. BI for example wasn’t even an all star last year.

I have Trey at +16000 for 6th man of the year. I’d be rich if that hits

Trey Murphy is considered a better player than Herb by the end of the year.

Right

I don't think Herb's peak will be that much higher than he was last season, and that's ok because he was THAT good last season. Hopefully he'll improve the 3pt shot and he'll be a legit 3 and D dude who can also cut/slash and his D just happens to be arguably the best wing defender in the NBA.

But the idea that he'll become a dude who averages 20+ a game who you can just give the ball and let him cook, that's just not going to happen. And again, that's ok.

If he takes the leap many think he will, 50+ wins, a top 4 seed and the WCF are all in play.

Graham will be a more consistently positive contributor this year, albiet with less minutes and usage.

Kira Lewis gets cut or traded before the season.

CJ will play some damn good pure Point Guard for us this season.

Pelicans land at 52-30; good enough for 4th seed.

Zion plays 71 games putting up 28/8/5; 2nd in MVP voting
BI plays 65 games putting up 25/6/6
CJ plays 62 games putting up 22/4/5
Z and BI are all star starters
Herb is 1st team all defense
TM3 is 3rd in most improved player

At the trade deadline: Hayes is disgruntled and traded

agree on graham (and what a godsend that would be). They already picked up Lewis’ 2022 option so he’s not getting cut but I do believe they’ll decline his 2023 option on 10/31. Sucks all the way around (wasted pick, terrible injury) but oh well

Only one NBA team in history have had 3 players average over 20ppg and combine for 75ppg. I'm betting no one could name that team either (I never would have guessed them)..

Being habitually out on the limb I suggest the following...

1. There IS a universe...where Dyson Daniels is part of our closing lineup by playoff time. I know who I'd pull out at crunch time & it's not Val since he's already been bumped out by Nance.

2. And another EVEN wilder & crazier universe...where Dyson is in there...AND Trey bumps Nance out.

Who is it, name names!

Reading your post, assuming Nance is in there and Dyson, then it basically has to be Herb Jones getting pulled as there is no universe where Dyson is closing over CJ/BI/Zion.

Early 90s Warriors would be my guess but I doubt they got to 75 ppg.

Nuggets?

Huh. You got that fast. But yeah, the 82-83 Nuggets. Issel, English and Vanderweighe combined for over 76ppg.

They must of had the worst defense ever. They all played at least 80 games and the team only won 45 games.
