We obviously need to make a trade sooner rather than later

What would everyone think about this:

Wesley and 2019 2nd to Bulls
Holiday to Pels

Hill and 2020 2nd to Hawks
Baze to Pels

Helps these teams with their tank, and we get two good players who could help us more on nights AD and Jrue are "off"

Who in their right mind wouldn’t want this?

It's great when you can do trade override on 2K.

Unfortunately Dell can't do this in real life.

What would be the issue?

Atl is losing, they may as well tank, Baze will hurt that.. Adding Hill's salary, they are actually shedding 6 million in salary next year

Chicago takes on 2 extra mil in salary, but it is an expiring so doesnt affect them next year, and they get an additional draft pick for their trouble.

I see it as a win-win-win for all 3 teams

If Atlanta would do Hill and a 2nd for Baze it would already be done.

They want a 1st

I wouldnt be opposed to giving them a 1st, it would have to have protections on it, and they give us their 2nd back

And they give us Bembry instead

I don't think a Hill for Baze swap is worth a 1st, and i'm pretty sure Dell has eyes for a better player. No one is making trades until after Dec 15th.

Pretty much no other team in the league is doing a 1st for Bazemore (I can't see a tanking team doing a second for him), so that deal will be there until the trade deadline for Dell to take at the last minute or pass.

Getting a second back would make the deal pretty appealing though

Lottery protection and they give us Bembry and Baze, top 23 protected for just Baze..

I still would want their 2nd back in either scenario though

To get what asset, our protected 1st and lose Bembry and their second? Sounds more like setting them back to me.

I don't think getting off a year of Bazemore is enough to sway them. They won't be competing for years

Another reason ATL SHOULD do it (if I were their GM), is they clear 6 million more on their cap for next year, and they could stretch and wave Hill or buy him out, and have enough cap space for 2 max contracts.. Bazemore doesnt give them that type of flexibility, unless they can trade him to someone without taking any salary back

I would be fine with that, but Atlanta owes their 2nd round pick to Washington. It is protected from 31-55, so they obviously won't convey it, but i don't know if you can offer that pick up in a trade since it's already involved in one.

Atlanta's 2nd and our 1st shouldn't be that big of a difference. It really doesn't make a big difference if you're picking 22nd or if you're picking 32nd. At that point its about recognizing a player that fits a role you want him to play on your specific team, and then developing him, something we have shown we aren't capable of doing.

Sure we would want those trades. However, the other teams have to agree to it. If they would agree to those, they would already have been done.

Wesley has provided decent minutes. Solo on the other hand...

I’m not saying Wesley is some god send, but he would be a value 7-8-9th guy on a team competing for a WCF berth.

I wouldnt be against keeping Wes, we just need to do something.. These types of losses are what kills you at the end of the season where in the Western conference 48 wins and you might be on the outside looking in for the playoffs

Team needs a semi-competent backup PG more than anything right now.

Hell at this point, I would just like to see them drop Frazier and sign a bigger backup PG like Isaiah Cousins who might give the bench a spark.
