Mr. Benson remains in ICU

Mr. Benson remains in the Intensive Care Unit at Ochsner Medical Center. He remains in stable condition and has shown signs of improving.
Mrs. Benson once again thanks everyone for their continued support and prayers.

Dude has been in ICU for almost 2 weeks, right?
A coworker lost his father recently. His dad started with rough "flu-like symptoms" which deteriorated to the point of hospitalization. He had a couple of better days that got their hopes up, but ultimately didn't improve significantly and finally succumbed. It's rough, but respiratory illnesses at that age are often too much even with the best healthcare.
I hope he pulls through, but only showing "signs of improvement" isn't promising at this point. I sure hope his a-hole kids and grandkids get over their shite and visit him.

Yeah, they always butter up the hospital reports in these type situations, so I'm thinking it's not too good. Hang in there, Mr Benson, gotta stick around for this next season.
