I can only hope that we are tanking. Either way, we have the talent, just need a better coach.

I feel ya. I am almost embarrassed to have a Pelicans sticker on my truck right now.
I used to sit in my office watching CP3 on my work laptop b/c it had a VPN so i could watch shitty streams on ADHT or whatever the hell it was, and now i can just flop on my couch after the kids go to sleep and watch the game in HD on my tv, and at the moment i'd rather watch a star wars cartoon that's 10 years old instead.

It's because if the short attention spans of fans and people in general these days. The "Instant gratification generation". No one reads the story anymore, they just follow the crawl or read the one or two sentence headline and form their opinion.
No way in hell fans today would have been able to stomach the Saints of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Would have given up on them before we ever got to know who Archie Manning was.

I can't speak for everyone but for an avid fan like me it has nothing to do with instant gratification. I am just tired of seeing a unprepared terribly coached team. Griff had everything going in the right direction with the rebuild of this franchise except he kept the career loser of a coach.

For real. I got back from vacation last week, and completely forgot there were still games going on that I had tickets to. Couldn't even give them away.
