Honestly, it’s time to blow up that team. That roster has peaked. Probably best for them to blow it up and start over. They’ve had 8 seasons to build a title contender with Harden leading them and it’s a failure. Harden will start losing value if they don’t move him soon.

The Knicks are reportedly interested in Westbrook. If they give you literally anything of value, you send him.
Which likely means that you have to trade Harden too.

Building a team around Westbrook going towards the decline is such a Knicks move too.

Truer words have never been spoken.

I mean they built multiple title contenders around Harden, there is just very little you are going to do when you are competing with arguably one of the top 3 greatest teams of all time in the Warriors for most of that period. Despite that, they were basically an injury away from shocking the Warriors the other year.
But I think it is clear Fertitta doesn't have the stomach now, or possibly ever, to play this game anymore and is going to sell off and rebuild. Even if he doesn't know it quite yet.

Yep, very on-brand.

So then, theoretically, what would yall give up to pair Harden with Zion? Could be unstoppable offensively.
Harden's game isn't too predicated on athleticism, so I don't see a sharp decline for him, like we can see coming with Westbrook.

Chauncey as his lead assistant.
I guess Chauncey finally realized he wasn't going to be handed a gm position
I like both him and lue
The people who didnt want lue here are crazy

I can 100% see them trying to get out of that Randle contract.
Something like:
Randle, Ellington for filler
Dennis Smith Jr for reclamation project
Mitchell Robinson young big man
+ multiple 1sts
now the question is...wth do you do with harden and where.

Nothing at all. I want no part of Harden anywhere near this team.
