There's already been some videos of him this offseason working on his handle.

Today he posted being at the Pelicans practice facility early this morning to get work in.

Many guys around the league are still in vacation mode right now a bit.

The sky is the limit with this kid. I love it.

Locked on Pelicans mentioned Trey's extra work, but also noted Brandon Ingram hasn't taken a day off since the playoff ouster bc he took the loss personal.

Put Trey in the finishing 5 with Zion, CJ, Ingram and Herb and we will be nasty. If Herb comes back hitting the 3 at a 36-38% clip, we will be cooking.

Agreed, he's in my top 3 players of all time for this team

I just hope he has given his body at least some time to heal up and rest, cause I know Zion takes up the bulk of the injury worries, but Ingram has missed more than 20 games a season in all years except his rookie season.

And getting quality health, especially at the end of the season, is going to be key to how far this team can go.

Ingram sets the standard of how Zion should treat preparation. Zion should never not be at the facility when ingram is there.

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer but I am a bit worried when it comes to Trey Murphy.

I mean, how are we going to afford yet another max contract for yet another top 25 player in the league!

You may want to look at this again.

True on the shortened year, but the point still stands.

He's missed 20+ games in 4 of the past 5 seasons. That's not ideal.

We played 72 games in both 19-20 and 20-21.

Fair point, but this season in particular, he accumulated quite the number of injuries and scares.

Just want to make sure he gives himself enough time to heal up before starting another 82 game grind + hopefully even deeper playoffs.

But I guess it also comes down to what "hasn't taken a day off" means. Which could mean anything from he's doing intense activities 8 hours a day, to he's been healing up and in the film room. Or somewhere in between(likely)

I definitely agree, just wanted to correct the record that he's not necessarily as injury prone as that would appear if he had really missed 20+ games all but his rookie season.

That svg season I'm fully convinced he missed those last few games so we could tank
