Trey Murphy on playing with and against Jose Alvarado:"I used to play him at Virginia. I hated playing against Jose, he was just so annoying. I couldn't stand him, even my parents and my cousins they couldn't stand him... Now that hes on my team I love him to death."

If Jose wasn't a pain in the arse like a gnat at a bbq, he wouldn't be in the league today.

Fits in with GTA being a Bruce Bowen kind of player.

Good to have on your team, annoying as frick to play against.

There seems to be this unspoken rule to not go 100% in certain situations on the court but Jose says frick that and his energy seems to be spreading throughout the team. It’s why we’re going to start running folks off the floor. Hurting a lot of feelings in the process.

Him doing the GTA bit is also heavily impacting what kids at the AAU level are doing, as they see him doing this shite and are following his example.

That’s somewhat amazing considering the AAU is typically a shoot-fest with no D.

It's really funny to watch Daniels because he's constantly looking around to see where people are moving, rotating, etc..

Hasn't figured out yet that this is the NBA where most of the time 8 of the guys on the court are standing still at the 3pt line

Being young and hungry isn’t a bad thing.

It shows his mind is working and he is trying to stay on top of things instead of getting complacent.

GTA looks even better than last year. His offense is so crafty and his jumpshot looks good

One of the prettiest shots I've ever seen is the little layup he does. So weird seeing such a small guy toss up the ball like that with a bunch of much taller guys around and see it be effective.

I chuckled a little when it happened.

The same guy hollered two or three times in the game "Waaaaatch Out!!!" Dude was keeping his eye on Alvarado. I didn't see who the player was that was calling it out.

Jose knows this is a golden opportunity to create generational wealth playing a game, and when given that opportunity, hustle should never be an issue.

Kind of infuriating when you consider Ben Simimons made more money dicking around last year than Jose may make in his career.

So teams now have to have eyes on GTA at all times!
