Spending time with his son In the middle of a custody battle. Fully respect his decision!

Yeah you can't blame the man for that. Take care of your family first.

saddest part is that the lawyers (100% sure they would do it) would use him being away for work as him being ill fit for primary custody.

but glad he has his priorities, tail end of his career and family >>>> a BS season

ESPN Story

This definitely makes the Pels' path a little easier.

Forgot they got their 2 bigs back, so probably a net gain for them from pre-covid season overall.

Guys don't be surprised if Jrue, JJ, or Favors sit out. They all have legit good reasons

I would be surprised. Maybe not stunned beyond belief, but I would be surprised.

Favors was asked a week or so ago and indicated that he expects to play. JJ and his playoff streak and his pride aren't going to allow him to sit out. And Jrue is still a key leader of the team. I know that he doesn't want to spend that long away from his family, but I think he takes his responsibility seriously.

Yeah JJ was on Simmons's pod last week. It sounds like he's been in the gym everyday during lockdown, working on fitness and his game. He basically said he feels as good as he has in a while. I'd be surprised if he suddenly said "nah, I'm out."

The only player on the team with an incentive to sit out is Ingram since a major injury can affect his potential contract. His mentality won’t allow him to sit out so we should expect the full squad for the rest of the season.
