If every player became a free agent and they did a new draft with Pels having #1 pick, would you pick Zion?

I honestly think I would.. deciding between him and Giannis. How many players in this league can score 30+ points this many times without shooting a jump shot?

It would be between Giannis, Luka, and Zion.

I could see Luka being the favorite, but really Zion is only missing the 3pt shot right now. He will eventually turn that on imo, but he just doesn’t need it right now.

I could see people taking the slightly younger guys over Giannis since they are already so good. I think Zion is more marketable which would also help.

I would probably just draft Lebron and go to the finals the next 2 season and see if we can get one title

It's insane that this is a legitimate option in year 17 of Bron.

Start of the season I’d probably have said Luka or Giannis, but I do honestly think Zion, despite the long term health concerns, has really pushed me into his camp.

His dominance, growth, fire + humble demeanor is really a perfect fit for NO

I will say, without AD the Lakers are 5-4.

I think you’d definitely need to get another superstar if you want a chip drafting Lebron given his age.

Redraft Question #2

Let's say you grab Zion #1 overall.. Do you think Ingram is there at #31?

Don’t get another top 5 player
In this draft?

Lebron ain’t carrying teams anymore.

On a night when Luka's jumpshot isn't falling, can he still score 30 pts like zion did tonight?

It is kind of a hard concept because at what point do older players get drafted. No way he makes it out of the first round. He is an all-star caliber player, a long wing, and young.

4th in the league in APG, 4th in FTA per game, and he's top 20 in RPG

I mean if we are gaming this out seriously every one in the first round is looking for their franchise player, so I doubt Ingram would have 30 teams that pass him up.

Probably would go mid to late teens or early 20’s at worse.

He’d be the type of player a lot of teams(I think rightfully) think he still has 3-4 years of progression before he hits his peak and his ceiling is as high as top 5 in this league still.

The thing to remember in a re-draft scenario is that there would be legit parity. The top 30 players in the league would be on 30 different teams. Lebron wouldn't have to worry about the PG/Kawhi or Big 3 in BKN type teams. No team he'd face would have an elite #2 guy, but of course, Lebron wouldn't have an elite #2 guy either.

I do think you gotta go Luka/Zion/Giannis in some order(I'd do it in that order I posted) but after those top 3, I definitely don't think it's the worst idea to take Lebron. The moment you take him, your team becomes the favorite to win the next title, all you gotta do is not really botch the remainder of the draft.

No, I haven't gone through all the dudes who I think would go round 1, but I'd be confident that BI would be gone before round 2.

Maybe/maybe not, but he can give you something like 15 assists and 12 rebounds, so there's that.
