We have to get that 8 because we will probably win 2 games.

It would likely be a repeat of the 2015 first round series vs GSW. We'll win one game in NOLA.
With that said, this young core making the playoffs would be an achievement in itself and would be a great springboard heading into the future.

We have no one that can slow down Lebron.
Ad you can throw a combo of Zion’s strength and Favors to beat him up, slow him down some nights.
But if Lebron just wants to turn it on there is no one on the roster we have that can really do anything about it in a series.
And ultimately, this is where Ingram is going to need to focus his development next if he truly wants to achieve superstar level. We shouldn’t be having to hide our small forward with a 7’3” wingspan because we think the better forwards in the league will eat his lunch.
But I’m with you, I still want the playoffs at this point because it will be helpful for the front office to see what our roster looks like, truly, in playoff basketball, and for our young core to gain that experience and motivation.

At this point it would be disappointing to miss the playoff experience for this team. although it would exceed expectations. If we don’t beat the Lakers in a series, it’s not the end of the world. We’ll get there.Either one more piece

I disagree. Lebron scores a season high. Yeah he had some dominant moves on jrue down low but he also made a bunch of threes.
He’s not a great three point shooter and won’t make that many every game

I didn't say the Pels would win any games against the Lakers. What I said was Zion and Favors would beat the shite out of AD, like they did last night, and his fragile arse will crumble in the playoffs (as always). LeBron will not be able to carry that roster on his own against the Clippers or Bucks.

Lebron was on a "AD" recruitment video. I know us Pels fans have no love for the Lakers because of the AD fiasco. But remember that AD has his own desires to disembowel us. He couldn't do it last night, so Lebron took it upon himself to play alpha. When he hit his first 3 pointer, it felt like trouble was brewing.
Lebron has no love for Pelicans team, FO, or fans. It was a grudge match to him. He still is a good player.

BI has had an amazing season given he had to literally sit for four months after His surgery. BI, Zo, and Zion with a great off season conditioning program is going to take this team next level.
