Always wondered why we didn’t try to trade for him in the offseason. Knocks practically gave him away. Dennis Smith and a couple low end first round picks. Im sure Griff had an idea about what assets we were gonna get back in an AD trade.
Ball has been playing great lately but he had more value than Smith. Seems Ball and an unprotected first this year would have done it.
Seems like he would be a perfect fit with Zion down low. Can rim protect on D and a great shooting big man on O to open the lane for Zion. Missed opportunity for a homerun....

Because he just got traded to the Mavs.
Also earlier that season, he leaked it out that he wouldn't resign with us if we traded AD to NYK for him.

You do realize that Porzingis was traded to Dallas last February, right?

Still think they are gonna make a run at Myles Turner. The idea of Zion at center is nice, but he is too bad defensively to really be a contender that way.

So I just read the rest of your post and saw this.
You still need to add $15m more in salary.
Terrible thread.

So we knw how ad is pretty soft right? And yet soft arse ad usually schooled the "unicorn" I'd rather not have someone softer then lebrons bitch

Must have slipped my mind, I know he didn’t play last year for the Mavs b/c of the injury but was thinking the trade happened very early in the offseason. I know they were trying to push him on us for AD.
All in all, they got hosed for that package compared to what we got for AD.

Terrible thread because I pointed out the main assets of the trade that were better than what the Mavs offered?
Salary is just logistics, he didn’t sign his max until after the trade to the Mavs, so he was making about the same as Ball. So your wrong. Terrible reply.
But since u want me to include salary to match, I’m sure Soloman Hill and Okafor or E. Moore would more than cover that 15m we would have needed to make the trade work this past offseason.....

He was ready to play, and wanted to play. Mavs just convinced him to sit out rest of season because they had nothing to play for at that point.

Man this board is becoming unbearable with all the stupid post.

He didn’t look that soft tonight. He flustered Zion with his help defense and altered plenty shots. We have Zion to be the bully down low, so it’s not that big a deal.
