Nope

we don't need a Jimmy. We need a guy like Justin Holiday or Jeremy Lamb

No. Jimmy is unlikely to re-sign, has a lot of miles on those legs, and doesn't fit everything the Pels have been building towards in terms of team chemistry and unselfish style of play.

Niko seems to like it here, fits perfectly with both Davis and Randle, and we have a good chance of re-signing him. On top of that we would have to give up a 1st.

No. But i'd do it if you swapped Randle and Mirotic.
If we did that trade, we wouldn't be able to keep Randle next year more than likely, so it's not just losing Niko, it's losing Randle too, without a decent path to replace either of them.

Would you give up Solo/Wesly/Diallo and a 1st for Fournier and Simmons?

good point.

Solo and our 2nd for Terrance Ross?
Doubt Orlando does that, but if there's a way to turn Solo into an expiring without giving up 1st, that would be ideal, even if the player isn't that good.
I think if there's a trade for us to make this season, it's going to be with Atlanta or Orlando.

I want to see Dedmon/Bremby/2nd for Solo/1st trade if there's no other big trades to make this year.
Gives us a backup big, gives us a SF that can play in a rotation, although he may not amount to anything, and you move back in the draft from around 22 to 32 more than likely. Also give us the cap space to resign Randle.

Nope, giving up Morotic and a first gives me heartburn.

If Butler is signing the extension, you do this deal without hesitation.

It makes us so much better. Love Niko, love the start he's off to. Jimmy Butler is just a much better player at a huge position of need.

And here also about to be on the wrong side of 30, with alot of miles and nagging injuries.. Theres a HUGE chance that Butler is not worth a max contract even a year into a new deal, and Niko will be alot more cost effective

There's very little chance Niko will be the better player over the next 4 seasons.

I assume we'll be operating over the cap these next few seasons.
