They will either way. But if your guys miss their usualy amount of games you now get out of paying even though you wouldn't have won the wager anyway.

The Cleveland Browns won an NFL Championship in the past decade or so, circa 1964.

I know you're a Rockets fan and despise the Pelicans and all, but you're by far the dumbest person on this site when it comes to basketball. The little knowledge you actually possess is laughable. It's best for you to just step away from the keyboard for a long long time and maybe come back when you are a little smarter than you are now.

So... How about that Terrence Jones guy? I'm excited to see what he brings to the table.
Free agency hasn't been the absolute shut show that I thought it would be for us n

I agree I think we have picked up some solid players.

If we're going to pay the minimum, any production we get is a bonus.

This.

Melting over picking this guy up is barely a step above melting if we assign Jimmer to a dleague team. Who gives a shite? Dude probably won't see more than 300 minutes in the entire season.

The upside is pretty much higher then anyone not named Larry Sanders thats out there right now. Jones was on his way to being a really good offensive and defensive PF that could stretch the floor.

The risk is he turns out like almost every other minimum player you add at the end of FA, I.E. he stays on the bench. Though even in the downside scenario there is a guy that gets along well with Davis.

So little to no risk and high reward. Sounds fine to me. Only wish we had attached a team option for the guy in case we do hit.

Although this off-season hasn't been flashy, all these "under the radar" signings make this team drastically better. Being able to guard multiple positions, who pels gained, over "give me the ball and Watch", which they've dumped, makes for a better team...excited to watch some games with meaning this season

Is it official yet? What are the #'s? And if it's not official yet what's the holdup? I'm trying to get a good flap in but I need those questions answered first.

Not official but when its being reported that a deal is close it's official, if you know what I mean. Just contract details being worked out.

Ehhh, no, not really.

Offense, yeah, he was decent on offense. Could finish nicely around the rim, handle the ball on a fast break and finish, catch lobs, and shoot the occasional 3.

Defensively he has never been good. He was an above average shot blocker but not really a good defensive player. He was average against most PFs and he would get completely exposed against the top PFs.

As for stretching the floor... again, not really. He's a career 31.4% 3-point shooter. And that is only shooting it when he's wide open and set up for the shot. That's a low percentage especially considering he only shoots the most wide open shots imaginable. One reason for that is that his release is very slow.

He can shoot the occasional 3, but I wouldn't call him a floor spacer at all. Teams will give him that shot all day.

thats accurate
again, he was starting for the rockets and defending front line PF's
that will not be the case here, unless catastrphe strikes

terrence jones is not an NBA starter

I said "on the way" which he was.

Defensively he was average and trending up and offensively he was improving.

Now, that cratered last season with the injury and then this season with falling out of favor but that is why we are getting him for the minimum.

His upside is there relative to the other guys available to us.

I am not saying he is a starter but he has great upside relative to the other options available in that price range with availability.
