Some good signs… despite how sloppy the pels are playing with all the turnovers and fouls. The game is still competitive. Dyson is looking elite on defense, but I hope they push him to be more aggressive on offensive to gain some confidence. Those few EJ baskets he looked really smooth, hopefully it’s a sign to come. Jordan Hawkins stroke looks good, they should try running more designed screens for him.

I’m drawing a blank here.
Who’s the PF that played in Indy and we had for a while after DWest? He was an undersized 4 but played decent hard nose D and good hit a mid range. Basically a DWest lite. Always a backup.
That’s who EJ reminds me of.
Pissing me of i can’t remember his name.

I think the plan was for Kira to not be on our roster by this point.
We’d rather get a look at the guys we are kicking the tires on than someone not back next season.

If there were a more New Orleans name for a player, it would be Boudreaux or Thibodeaux.

I guess dyson isn’t going to be a primary playmaker for us if they keep relying on Seabron instead of dys in summer league

I agree. Just a real natural looking touch for an undersized PF. Would love to see some more offense come his way

I think that's more of a Seabron problem. You can't play him and not play him onball. He offers almost nothing off ball.

Well if EJ can be a Carl Landry type that would be a great career for him, and us.

Kira is a 4th year player, he cannot participate in Summer League.

EJ looks really good guarding on the perimeter and switching. He's going to add a lot of value because he can move really well at the 4.

10 guys played so far, 7 of them guards.

I just can’t with these bench guys. So brutal

Couldn’t remember how long they could do that…
Main thing I remember is Julian Wright refusing to play SL around his third season, shortly before we flipped him to Toronto for that sharpshooter from Italy.
