The most hyped since Lebron. But says and does all the right things. Incredible character and mature beyond his years. So likable its unreal and I HATE Duke and most anyone associated with them.

How sick is it that we can enjoy this kid’s career on OUR team without having to bandwagon?

To Zion

Couldn’t agree more.

Best part is he seems to love us as much as we love him.

We have a great organization now that will be in the position to keep great players like him.

I'm seeing tweets and stuff about Nike maybe giving him 30k when in school. If true would there be anything happen to him now?

No, it’s not against the law to take money while in high school or college, it’s just against NCAA rules.

And, anyway, I haven't seen any proof that it happened -- just Nike executives discussing the possibility.

Right but I'm sure if he did take it he didn't report it to irs and pay takes. And that is against the law. Although I'm sure this goes on all the time and they probably have some loop holes for all that stuff. Maybe I'm just expecting the worst because for things to be this right feels wrong lol

He would pay the back taxes and get on with his life if there was an issue.

You have to take Zion... but I think Ja has the better career.

And you are entitled to your opinion. No one who doesn't live in Memphis agrees with it, but you are entitled to it. If you want an objective comparison, 538's CARMELO rating expects Zion to produce, on average, 37 wins in his career over a replacement player, while Ja is expected to produce 25 wins over a replacement player.

To which our PR savvy GM can use that as a springboard to make the media rounds again, articulating the correct argument that the NCAA is a broken system, which will have the added benefit of spotlighting and building further momentum toward letting players skip college, something the NBA media is largely sympathetic with, which will align nicely with our war chest of draft assets.

....Literally, nothing to worry about.

Why wouldn’t they report the income? The NCAA doesn’t have access to their tax/financial records, or where their income comes from.

The nba rookies voted for best rookie career.
1 reddish
2 morant
3 hunter

Predicted by rookies as having better careers than zion.

None of the rookies are from memphis.
