I can't wait until we draft Trey Burke or another potential star and the Pelicans become a swag team that everyone loves similar to the Thunder of today.

Yeah, because the Utah Jazz, L.A. Lakers, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, Cleveland Cavaliers, New Jersey Nets, Wash. Wizards, Memphis Grizzlies, Clippers are all soooooooooo appropriate, impressive, and distinctive.
'Jazz' 'Cavaliers' 'Nets' 'Clippers', 'Pacers,' and 'Wizards' are sooooo ferocious....
We are one of the very FEW franchises whose name actually represents or has something to do with the area. The Pelican is the state bird and is actually on the State SEAL.
Others are 76'ers, Mavericks, Nuggets, Spurs.

Have you never listened to that clown speak? I swear he has a list of words with 3 or more syllables that he just sticks in places like fricking mad libs. He'll sometimes get close to the proper use of the word, but he usually sounds comically stupid.
