Caruso
Ingles
Ingram
Zion
Valacinus

Bench:
NAW
Craig
Hayes
Billy
Marshall
Murphy

Don't expect Marshall or Murphy to provide much but they're there.

Maybe bring Hart back too.

Yeah, I think if you can do it, you do it.

Jonas
Zion
BI
Brogdon
Lowry

NAW
Hayes
Trey

Billy
Naji
Lewis

That's good enough that you figure it out if you can.

Pro Lowry guys, what do you expect from him if we get him and how good do you think he'll be in two years?

Better than anything Lonzo Ball will bring to the table.

As of today, I agree Lowry is better. But what about next year and the year after?

Even if Ball doesn't improve, he'll have more value than Lowry in a year.

Lowry will still be better at the end of his contract.

I'll take that bet that 38 year old Lowry is not as good as Ball is at 26, even if Ball isn't that good. Lowry will be out of the league or end of bench.

Ball will never be able to do the things Lowry is able to do. You're banking on a player breaking down. I'm banking on Lowry offering high level play for at least 2 seasons. I don't love a 3 year deal but I'm not delusional enough to talk out of my arse about his level of play.

It's very possible this statement will be wrong at some point during the 2022 season, sir. Lowry may fall hard this year.

I don't think this team can miss the playoffs with a player of Lowry's caliber. I still don't want him, but he does complete our roster.

Sure it's possible. But statistically and based on past history, it's likely.

Again, you're banking on Lowry being an extreme outlier similar to some of the best PGs of all time.

Nash
Kidd
Paul
Stockton

Is Lowry in that tier?

Hell no.

Again, best case scenario is he's Cassell or Billups for a year.

I expect he will come in and play 60 games a year, averaging 28 mpg, shoot the 3 at 40%, and be a steady high iq player in the final 5 minutes of games while showing Zion and BI what it takes to close out tough games and be a winner.

Anything else is lagniappe

I'd take that for $15 million a year not 30.

It's a huge gamble. I think Griffin might take the chance, knowing that if Lowry's productivity goes south it won't likely be him picking up the pieces under the weight of that contract.

I guess the question is, if Lowery holds up, what's the best case upside? How far can the teM make it?

And expiring. How good he does in year 1 and 2 of the deal are what would matter. There's valid concerns about year's 1 and 2. I'm just saying people shouldn't get hung up on the 3rd year, that's the foundation of a bigger trade.

If Ball goes for under 20, he definitely will have way more trade value in year 2 and 3……

My opinion is, if we get him and another guard such as Brogdon, we’re really only trading for 2 years of Lowry, even if he’s on a 3 year deal. We have a ton of picks, and they are probably more valuable in 2023 than they are now anyway. We trade Lowry’s salary as matching, plus picks for the next available star.

Not sure why some think we are going to get both Lowry and Brogdon. I cannot see any way that happens. Getting Lowry may even be more difficult now that Dallas has cleared enough cap space to offer him a huge deal.
