Expected.. I wouldn't mind him on a minimum deal as he's a great defender, his QO was over 4 mil though

The 30-32 is expected after we renounce and etc.

So technically we don’t have it yet and are at “28”

I assume.

It's incredible how different things are compared to a month and a half ago.

Before the lottery, I felt the tone around SJ was "meh, we can bring him back and hope he develops."

Now we have depth and are looking to replace him with guys like Tobias Harris. Incredible.

Rookie scale contract.

Detroit was dumb enough to draft him about 8th overall, so he got a fairly decent sized deal.
