re: Someone remind me again why KD left the Warriors?

We got to get past this rings culture. What GSW team was better. This past year or KD last year when both he and Klay were hurt and they lost to TOR? The KD version was miles better. Too much injury luck goes into so many titles.

Agree, also not sure he even wins another title with GS. Klay missed the next season and I'm sure GS would have considered shopping Klay just for the luxury tax bill. Could GS have kept that team together past another year anyway, who knows.

Are you talking with no injury or after comeback?

It’s hard to say with other roster moves with or without Klay, but Durant was playing some of the best basketball of his life last postseason, and that’s a high bar.

Last years play in Golden State team with Durant wouldn’t be a play in team for sure.

Instead of sourcing this article written in the middle of their feud, which Draymond was in the wrong there.

So it's ok to cover your eyes & pretend things never happened? The fact of the matter is it happened & Green must have had his reasons at the time for saying what he said. I bet you are the type who makes excuses for being cheated on.

KD and Dray buried the hatchet at this point 12 months ago.

Curry sought out a meeting with Durant after it was announced Durant signed with the Nets thanking Durant for all he did there.

Draymond may have done so as part of his business relationship with TNT. Curry on the other is just that type of person on all accounts.

Lol. It was his personal podcast they did during their time as Team USA teammates. With Kerr as the HC. When Dray was pranking KD with international press at the Olympics.

I’m not the dumbass ignoring the brief feud being over, or that the organization sided with Durant. Along with the fact that it would be consider an outlier, a heated exchange between teammates doesn’t equate to being a locker room cancer.

Don’t let facts get in the way of your feelings to Durant, numbnuts.

Bless your heart if you seriously believe that an incident that boiled over like that was an one time affair.

LINKYikes, someone’s on tilt.

quote:

According to Green, it would have been even more difficult to talk KD out of playing compared to convincing him to play. That’s just the way he’s wired based on his experience playing with him during their time in Golden State together.

quote:

I had no doubt in my mind that he was playing. I’m sure everyone tried to talk him out of it. Coming off an Achilles injury, all of the minutes played in the playoffs, had some injuries throughout the playoffs. What I knew, in knowing Kevin, you were going to talk him out of playing as opposed to talking him into playing. He just love hoopin’, that’s what he lives for,” the Warriors star said

"So, for instance, Kevin took the one-year deal on his own."... "So that was kind of the elephant in the room." Green was speaking with Maverick Carter and Paul Rivera on the WRTS: After Party Podcast.

Green says, "You can't just leave the elephant in the room, because what happened was the question came to us every day, like every time we spoke to the media, Klay and myself was asked about our contract."..."It was strictly due to Kevin because while that was going on, Klay was saying, 'I want to be a Warrior forever. I want to be here."

quote:

"We started this thing. This is where I want to be.' I'm saying, 'Yo, I want to be here for my career."... "We started this, we built this, I want to finish my career here with the guys I started it with."

"And then you kind of had Kevin, [saying] like, 'I don't know what I'm going to do next year, and it don't matter'; but it does matter, because you're not the only person that has to answer that question."

quote:

You could give Durant a pass for how he handled things in Oklahoma City by chalking it up to youth. But that excuse doesn't play at Golden State.

KD will always be KD, soft in certain areas and they will always make him make stupid decisions trying to validate himself in those areas he's soft.

Westbrook was no where near the player..... But he wasn't soft, that's why KD left he couldn't take it

KD also couldn't take Green in GS either ... Why he left Golden State I'll never understand.... Stupid stupid stupid, and I'm not even a warriors fan
