He is the worst coach in the NBA, 140+ to the Nuggets wow. If he doesn’t get canned soon another season will be lost and we can kiss our upper level talent goodbye.

You know when Gentry did call a timeout? When Denver went up 14-4. What happened after that timeout? An 11-0 Denver run.

Timeouts aren't some magic cure all. THATS not the reason he sucks. He does suck, that's true. But you can tell when someone is a novice fan because that is their go to.

Using championship caliber teams as an example of "playing through runs successfully" is an equally lazy observation.

The timeout isn't a cure-all, but there's also a reason the casual fan uses it as a reason "Coach A" sucks. They've seen the strategy implemented successfully many times in the past.

My singular biggest gripe with Gentry is that he spends the entire game grinding the officials. I've said it a million times before. It's a moronic strategy. If you can talk to the official like they are a human being and be cordial at minimum, more often than not, those guys will actually affect opinions. If you're the dude non stop bitching for 48 minutes, they're probably dreading even reffing your team before tip-off.

It extends further than that. That body language translates poorly to the players. If they come over to the huddle and their head coach is flipping out at an official, that's not exactly an environment conducive to improvement. Coaches like Pop and Stevens are firm and calm, demanding excellence.

There's nothing about Gentry's body language or personality that exudes winner. He comes off like a whiny bitch.

Let me start by saying I'm not a huge fan of Gentry, but this is such total garbage. Bitch about him needing to be fired when we're down big, but once we come back and get a big win just give all the credit to the players and none to the coach and continue to bitch. God forbid he might have made a few adjustments that helped in some type of way. You're a moron
