Dunno, but I wish him well. He was one of my favorites when he was playing.

Definitely not from what we've seen. Antonio Daniels is replacing him.

All we know is he's being replaced by Antonio Daniels. My best guess is Wesley's contract was up, he asked for a raise, and Fox Sports decided to go with with cheaper option even though their ratings will be through the roof because of Zion if this summer is any indication.

It was probably just bad timing that his contract ended when it did. No one knew who would buy the Fox RSNs after the Disney/Fox deal, or when the sale would happen.

Him and Joel were a great combo. Im going to miss him calling the games. I like that Antonio Daniels can be critical, but he's been more of an OKC fan than he has N.O. since he's been covering games/post game shows. But hopefully he wont be too bad.

I’ve heard Antonio Daniels on a few podcasts and at least one radio show. He comes off as sucking. He’s kind of the preach long winded, say the same thing in different ways Type when answering a question.

I don't trust McDaniels at all. I disliked his studio work for the Pels. He's one of those ex-athlete commentators who mistakes exuberance for insight. Call it Shannon Sharpe Syndrome.

One of the things I liked about Wesley is he kept it low-key and business like. He wasn't a homer but he wasn't manufacturing fake "hot takes" just to generate some kind of stupid buzz. I thought he and Joel paired well together and were one of the best broadcasting teams in the league. If you doubt it, just watch a few of the "away" replay streams and get ready to hit the mute button.

By contrast, the network already has a first-rate commentator working on Pels broadcasts they could turn to if a deal with Wesley couldn't be worked out. Honestly, listening to Joel team up with Nancy Lieberman would be a dream.

All of this.

Listening to away games can be painful.

Lieberman is top notch. Her post game work is definitely the best we have and she clearly knows her stuff. I think she would do a nice job along side Joel.
