Ingram plays 40-50 games; Zion plays what 30 and has constant weight issues. But yeah I would prefer Zion just cause of his upside and the dynamic with Lamelo.

Lol yeah spaces on twitter for normal convo wont work. You’ll probably get some idiot on the toilet raving about how Zion is just Ben Simmons lol

quote:Again, your quote-
Shams actually had a video clip today where he again talked about the pelicans moving up to number 2 and then specifically mentioned Zion. It wasn’t a tweet, if you’re going to try to take me down at least review/view where the source came from. Thats not really a leap and I never said Shams said Pels are actively shopping Zion- I said its probably true Zions name was potentially brought up in trade discussions. But go ahead and make stuff up to take away you assuming MM tweet means Griffin is trusting CJ over his scouting staff lol
quote:
Yet there are rumors from Shams our GM is thinking about trading him for Scoot. Yeah, Im on a message board but dont think they’re not considering trading him. Whether they do or not is different story.
That was never said at all in the clip.

Where do we sign?

I’ll clarify then. There are rumors Zions name might be in trade discussions for Scoot. I will admit when Im wrong. I am
assuming our GM is thinking about it due to Zions previous injury history but again I could be completely wrong. I type what I think and thats my mistake in writing an assumption in connection to what Shams reported which was Zion might be in discussions not that our gm is actively thinking it because only Griffin knows what he thinks and Shams did not directly report that.
Now can you admit that the assumption in accordance with MM tweet does not mean Griffin prefers CJ opinion to the scouting staff? Because that is just a huge assumption on your part as well and not what MM actually tweeted.

Shams did mention Zion in the video as potentially being in trade talks for Scoot.

Westbrook whom I have a lot respect for as a human being, always played basketball the same way. His game never evolved, just the athleticism declined. He was always a poor decision maker unless he a had mismatch (which was often). He stat hunted too.
His very flawed game was hidden by playing with other greats.
Awesome athlete, flawed player.
I’m good on that if that’s what Scooter is. And yes, Ingram has more skill than Westbrook.
I’d rather run it back with the same group, but Zion isn’t serious about winning, it seems.

Yup my mistake was stating Griffin was directly involving Zion. People here are really sensitive in regards to their favorite players being involved in any sort of trade rumors so I have to be sensitive to that lol

To be fair the analysis for him has westbrook athleticism but CP3 IQ if I read that right. I’ll probably have to pull that up before the source police gets on me lol

CP3 basketball IQ is very good, but if he plays like him hard pass.
Regardless, all of this is a step back.
The current roster, in a healthy vacuum or bubble (lol), should contend. this summer should be telling. Our team co captain is playing Team USA, which *Knocks on wood* is typically good for players. The other star player needs a plan.

You mean sleeping around with porn stars is not a good offseason plan??? Lol

Shh…we had a good 6 weeks with him this season.
And he had a great year two years ago.
Definitely build around that guy.

Is that what we call playing with a high motor at all times on both ends of the court, going after rebounds to start fast breaks which he excels at?

We shall see. Not going to lie outside of just basketball, moving on from Zion just helps the franchise start clean. Amazing basketball talent but especially with his own so called pr team, his issues with training staff, and weight issues it’s definitely a grind for the organization. Obviously again that grind is worth it if hes healthy and plays but as the years go by it seems health continues to be an issue.

That’s not what a lot is. Scoot is a much smarter as a decision maker than Westbrook. The Westbrook comparison overall is a lazy one. Do they have similar freak athleticism traits?yes. That’s where the comparison should end

I honestly think he wont be with the team next season. I feel like at some point this offseason he’ll be tossed in a trade. Honestly might be better for him. He never got a true shot in nola especially when Jose took over.
