the way it works is that we each pick a team and if neither makes the finals then no one wins/loses the bet.

it's implied that we each pick a team. Why would I get one team and he gets every other team in the West? That doesn't make sense and isn't a bet a savvy basketball guy like me would make. Hollinger has HOU as 4% chance to make the finals how could you assume that 96 - 4% would be the bet
