well, Utah and Chicago are two of the best rebounding teams so I won't really judge by stats so far there

Monty has said he's been watching him play since high school.

Emeka who? Seriously, Lopez may be the most shrewd acquisition under Dell. Look at the players that have come into their own under Monty: Vasquez, Aminu, Lopez, Smiht, Ayon. I have faith.

Lopez is developing nicely. Great pickup. His production at his salary is great. Shrewd pickup by Dell and coached up well by Monty.

That seems to be the case so far.

Plus the guy has been offered endorsement deals by Paris Parker Salon and John Jay.

Smith for sure. Need a bigger sample size then 3 games for the other current Hornets. But I agree with you in principle.

Emeka who? Seriously

Glad you are finally coming around. Legit 7' who has no problem mixing it up inside and can actually finish at the rim.

+ he is still young and improving
+ he was relatively cheap

He should contact Geico about taking over the Caveman ad campaign. He is a natural for that spot.

He has been highly productive. He is very active and shows a lot of effort. I love what he adds to the team. A vast improvement over Okafor. He is a little awkward and unorthodox but effective. Dell hit a home run with this pickup. Very valuable piece.
