Why won't McNamara post here and chat it up with his fellow Pel fans? Same w you Flecth. I know you are reading this.

Are you so concerned with pushing your own agenda? This site isn't a threat to your blogs. Matter of fact, we discuss a lot of things you guys say. Why not join the conversation?

You scared of the itty bitty anonymous Pel talk poster?

I think if people would chill out a little bit and just have some fun instead of being so harsh, we'd find a little more common ground and better time of things, and probably more good basketball debates.

No doubt. Good luck with that.

That son of a bitch I've never seen mention of ties to the area other than being a life long Hornets/Pelicans fan.

42, can you confirm that he's just pandering here before more people get their worlds turned upside down.

Wut.

No one thinks that. Literally no one but him.

He is wrong 100% of the time. He used to post on HR as CP3&11 Others claiming to have inside info and was proven to be a fraud.

I think his basketball analysis is ok sometimes, and he's a decent writer. I just wish he would stop with the "inside info", because he has none. Zero. Zilch.

He's actually the most intolerable of the BSS (247) writers. Arrogant as all hell and posts ridiculous rumors to stir the pot. I think he's been crucial on the business side of that website but on the public relations/content side he's an unmitigated disaster.

He does seem to have some sources but he runs with a source or source's opinion, exaggerates it, and pimps it as a valid possibility.

Edit: In McNamara's defense, we don't have any legit reporters that have legitimate sources within the Hornets organization, so that kind of puts McNamara and Mackel in the limelight cause they are probably the closest thing we have. You can probably credit the Hornets organization for a massive part of that and keeping things internal.

He's still an arrogant dick though. In his podcast he starts off with a "joke" about himself wrestling a bear, and his money's on him. I think that part of him actually believes that. Also, that rant on the Official 247 Twitter during the EG10 saga was as bushleague/selfish as it gets.

Don't get it twisted though, I still would recommend BSS for any Pelicans related content. It's one of the better blogs out there for any sports team and the depth of coverage is out of control. It's a shame they aren't catering to a larger audience where they'd be rewarded for the actual time put in.

Agreed. He is arrogant and pompous. He may have one source and seems to run with any "opinion" that source has. He will treat every rumor as fact. He also will play Fletcher and change his story multiple times in order to keep his options open on his wild rumors. He also is like Fletch in that he throws everything at the wall and when one thing hits, he claims that he "called it." Is it coinsidence that Fletch retweets MM's tweets constantly? They are cut from the same cloth. MM just is more arrogant.

Those guys catch a lot of shite, some deserved, some not.

Tough to be the main source of info for a professional sports team when you are, from what I can tell, a crew of guys writing on the side because they love the team. TP coverage is a joke.

What they need is their own Ziller, Mahoney, Golliver, etc. A guy who can break out and become a national read. Obviously much easier said than done. TigerinAtl?

Journalism doesn't usually pay well enough to be my day job and I already spend more time on this than I should. Not to mention to be successful at that I'd have to do something like come up with Z Charts, and we couldn't even complete that assignment as a group
