The Nets have 3 of the best 15 players on the planet, and they managed all of 16 points in the first quarter. Wow.

Yeah Paul actually hit a few nice shots in the 4th. They were doubling kawhi a lot and he didn’t even try to fight it for the most part.

ATL- Those last 2 years at 45 and 48 are rough lol. IMO, there are only 10-12 players worth a pure vet max in this league and George isn’t one of them.

However, Core would basically be Zion, Ingram, George, Hayes, NAW, Kira, Naji, Didi whoever else we draft assuming the Clips only take Zo and other salary filler. I really think they might want a pick or two as well as we would be getting the best player in the deal by far.

That’s not half bad core, but it’s prob not a championship ceiling and it would put you at the tax or over very soon. So even if you were able to keep a lot of our pick and young player ammo, I don’t even know that we could add another big piece money wise, we’d just be using the picks to draft more depth/role players.

That’s the thing I feel like Boston did. They went out and got stars in Irving, Hayward and Walker to fit in with Brown and Tatum. Also having a great 6th man in Smart. But as you can see, it all has to do with fit. However Miami is the other way around of not giving up Herro for Harden. Which I think will be a great tandem.

The question is all about fit and if we do go for a star, will he fit in with us or not. And if we do, do we trade our young players for a star or let them maximize their efforts.

CP3 just gave LeBron a shoulder contusion to match his own and even things out. Harrell has to be gone for at least this game the way he body tackled Payne.

Our players only care about their fits and their offensive stats. Who cares about winning when Instagram exists?

Here's a question, and I guess this thread is as good a place as any to ask it:

Now that the Lakers are in the playoffs proper, do we get a pick from them this year, or does a pick not convey this year?

the Lakers' pick would defer to 2022.
it is "protected" at 8-30.

Going from the bubble and this 72 game regular season to actual playoff basketball with crowds, is like watching a different sport.

The fact that they ejected Payne instead was kind of hilarious lol

Thanks. Would be nice to have an extra first rounder this year, but maybe the Lakers will go downhill next year and we'll get a higher pick.

Hope they resign Schroeder to a huge contract. Andre Drummond and Caruso are free agents also.

Rudy Gobert just flopped after getting touched and he isn't even in the game. That's a first and of course it's Gobert to do it. Flopping after you're fouled out.

That's the hope. We might be able to use some seconds to grab a late first too

He should be suspended for coming off the bench. There was no timeout or anything. What the hell is he doing literally under the basket when he's supposed to be on the bench?

They’re gonna be worse. Lebron is not going to play every game next year, especially at 37. Also, most of their players are FA and they’re gonna run it back with the old squad. I hope they resign Schroeder and somehow Caruso goes to another team. AD is AD and you know dang well he isn’t gonna carry the team.

The NBA potentially can't do much in that they've allowed guys in that area all season long. Granted, guys don't ever initiate a conflict with another player then flop, so I'd have no issue with a suspension for Gobert.

Just pointing out that all season long guys have been in that area, celebrating plays with players in the game, picking up their guys if they fall to the ground, so the NBA has been relaxed on that, so they may be in a spot that could be tough to penalize, but I personally do think regardless of how relaxed they've been on it, he initiated contact with a player in the game, and that should get serious discussion on a suspension, but I'm guessing that's a 0% chance of actually happening.
