Willie's a soft-arse coach that just folds his arms.

Outscored by 30 in the second half. We scored 44 in the second half and they scored 39 in the 3rd.

Yea... We gave up 74 points in the second half.

I hate Golden State they cried like females in the first half, and now they're celebrating.

I don’t see anyone in the warriors that could guard Zion and they can’t build a wall like milwaukee or utah did.

That was awful…we need to trade for poole

A lot of that was our offense unable to score and not getting rebounds. Just pathetic

Draymond taking credit and saying that his antics are what changed the game is hilarious.
His nonsense hurt his team and nearly cost them the game, then GS took over after the half, when it had nothing to do with his nonsense.

Who do you think you'd trade him for?

so we're just 0.5 game ahead of the Lakers (and they have the tiebreaker over us 3-1)
and just 1.0 game ahead of both the Thunder (we have tiebreaker over OKC 3-1) and Dallas (season series 2-2... other tiebreakers TBD)

3rd quarter was inexcusable. 4th quarter the back to back caught up with them.

Nothing changes though. The goal was 5-3 to finish the season and still is. We gotta steal the Denver game.

the 3rd quarter as a whole wasn't terrible...
yes the start sucked (8-0 run) but the middle 9:30 was fine... we essentially were keeping them at arm's length... answered every push they had
but the turning point was that last 25 seconds of the 3rd quarter... esp when Curry & Poole each missed 3s but they got OREBs after both & Curry hit the 3rd chance 3... then BI turns it over at midcourt and gives them a runout dunk
those 5 points with less than 15 seconds left in the 3rd gave them the momentum and we wilted from there

yeah... the game Thursday is the last of a 3-game homestand for the Nuggets... and to add to it... they will not have played since last night (Monday)
needless to say... they'll be well rested while we're looking for the end of this west coast road trip and looking ahead to what could be a decisive 4-game homestand
ETA: we throttled the Nuggets when we had Zion (the "Jose... Jose, Jose, Jose" game)... then lost to them twice during the 10-game losing streak (1 of which was by just 1 point... the other by 9)

Disappointing second half. It was on the second game of a back-to-back but the better-conditioned team won. Pels were gassed from the mid-third quarter moving forward, while the Warriors kept applying pressure (and holding) defensively, trapping, getting loose balls and second-chance points.

Couple things here. I see a mix of disappointment, nuance, and we are arse posts.
This is my attempt at a fair, unbiased breakdown of what went wrong.
1) Draymond probably should’ve been tossed. He gets away with a lot. He was a complete and utter jackass tonight. People like to complain about Luka and other stars. Honestly, most of that doesn’t bother me. Draymond is on an entirely different level. And it kind of ruins the integrity of the game when he gets to act like that with little to no consequence.
2) Defensive rebounding late in the 3rd Q. We still had a chance to go into the 4th with a double digit lead, but couldn’t rebound and even worse, we left Steph. Some of those rebounds were debatably offensive fouls. But if we have 1 guy glued to Steph, maybe some of those second chance 3’s don’t happen.
3) We were up 17-20 at one point, but it probably should’ve been 25-30. We had some very sloppy turnovers that kept GS within shouting distance.
4) This is what GS does. They are 4 time champs for a reason. They own second halves. Especially in their building.
5) GS simply has another level. When they want to win. They win. There is a reason why they can be trailing a playoff game by 55 one night and then come back and win game 7 like nothing happened the next night. (Memphis series)
6) That flagrant call on CJ was kind of bullshite. It was an accidental Collision. CJ has 1-2 of these a game tbh. It was only upgraded to a flagrant bc Draymond basically bullied the officials into it.
7) Offensive struggles. It’s tougher to score against a set defense. When our defense and rebounding went down hill. It became that much tougher to go against GSW’s set, inspired defense. I’m not particularly sure what would have worked. This is probably the type of team we need Zion to beat and/or another Trey Murphy level shooter to penalize all the defensive attention Ingram was getting.
8) Nice to see Zion engaged in timeouts and huddles. I haven’t seen much of that this year, but maybe I have missed it due to the regular broadcasts not highlighting it,

The Warriors sat in a box and 1 for a ton of the second half and trapped like crazy up top…yes, having more shooting available would’ve mattered. Herb actually shot well, but they left Josh, Naji, and Dyson open a ton and they couldn’t, and sometime wouldn’t, make the Warriors pay for it.
Willie also played the starters like 35+mins each, which was a risk on the second of a back2back, but our bench gave way too little tonight when they were in.

JV not fricking rebounding and CJ not showing up. That 3rd Q was utterly pathetic.
