Wrong. We definitely could gain ground on two of them given remaining schedules.

We are talking the difference between 11 and 8 in the lottery which under the current odds is drastic. Double almost I think.

shite 10th and 9th place Goes from 14% to 20.5% to get top 4

Steph started 10-15 and 7-11 3's; he made 3 of his last 16, including 1 of his last 9 threes. Yikes.

He’s inconsistent, but at his best he is really good and I think much more of a complete player than Ingram.

I hope he balls out the rest of the year. At least that would help his trade value if that’s the route we go.

Great time to have two days off. Gotta be mentally exhausting playing Steph back to back nights.

Did the team just finally realize that they should double/trap steph every time he touches it or was that just an effect of BI being out

Yeah the difference between 11 and 8 is drastic.

We aren’t making the playin. There’s just no logical reason to win.

I’m not actively cheering for losses despite my jokes on here. But I’m not thrilled about meaningless wins either.

Hayes and Naji versatility and mobility on defense really helped cover the floor when we blitzed curry.

It didn’t show up in the stat sheet but Jax made a huge difference out there. His length and speed helped a lot.

There were a lot of positives from tonight. I just can’t think of one that invokes Ingram, unfortunately.

I agree but what hurts and caps Lonzo as a player is the fact he has no confidence in driving and finishing. It hurts offensively because no one respects him enough to collapse so he can dish and if his 3 ain’t falling, which is a coin flip, he’s just as much dead weight as Ingram is as times.

I want Zo to be great but he’s capped as a player unless he finds some inner skill to drive and finish. I don’t want to move on from him or Ingram but moving on from both might be in our best interest. Worst case is we ruin our lotto chances and convince this FO to run it back with this group + NAW and Hart

It could just be the match up, but Zion made some good defensive plays down the stretch. And last night Shamit posted a stat where the DRtg was about 100 when Zion was on the court and something ungodly like 188 when he was off. Small sample size and again maybe matchup dependent, but it's nice to see Zion impacting the defense like that.

Zions improves drastically defensively since the beginning of the year. It’s not just this game. He still isn’t good yet but i think he can be

re: PELS VS WARRIORS: I'M A LOSER BABAYYY, SO WHY DONTCHA KILL ME?
That defensive play where the rebound was loose and up for grabs and ended in a clear path foul , Z put as much effort into finishing that play as I’ve seen him make since college. That was a Josh Hart type play and I loved to see it when the game was on the line. He also had a very nice rebound on that missed free throw by Draymond. That lineup that closed the game really showed a lot of heart and fight. Hitting shots and free throws is what ultimately secured th game, but the level of fight we brought to the Warriors in the last 4 minutes was absolutely beautiful.

We’re learning how to win man. It’s a process, but it’s a beautiful thing.
