They actually picked up the intensity on defense the last few plays and it paid off. Who would have thought that’s how it works?

This team is playing just as they did when AD was on his way out. They're here for the check, nothing else.
Don't know if players got called out for skipping games while "injured" or what - but this team is done.
Sad - I thought we had it figured out this time around.
The NBA needs to figure out the "players don't actually have to play basketball" thing pretty quick or fans are going to bounce. When guys can be locker room cancers (or constantly "injured") and get paid max contract money over and over and over again - people are tired of it.

Zion being out.... and the team knowing he ain't coming back any time soon... i think there is a lot more animosity about that issue than is being reported on or looked into...
that and Willie Green is too complacent, lacks fire, lacks ability to motivate, and isn't a very technical coach... he basically has experience as a player, knows a few things, but that alone doesn't and shouldn't qualify him as a coach, at the highest level... some former players have great basketball IQ (Sloan, Kerr, etc), but Green ain't that guy....

Its not an effort issue...Willy is playing a 4 out offense with only 3 shooters and no PF on D. The Pels are at a disadvantage on both ends with that lineup, so even when its working it takes unexpectedly great play to overcome the disadvantage. Willy is an idiot.
